Sterilising the dogs of Bali

Our mission is to prevent thousands of animals from being born, only to suffer and struggle to survive on the streets, be abused by cruel or neglectful people, or be euthanised for lack of a loving home.

Bali Pet Crusaders is an Australian registered charity created by passionate animal lovers and people who are strongly affected by the stray dog and cat population in Bali. We believe that with our Sterilisation Project we can truly make a difference to the animal welfare on the island with the help of the local and international communities.

Bali Pet Crusaders was founded and is managed by Australian animal lover, Deb Banfield. Deb served for over 20 years in the Royal Australian Navy and discharged due to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other medical issues. Deb created Bali Pet Crusaders as a form of therapy and focus for her conditions and as a way of ‘giving back’ to Bali for bringing joy to her life in times when she needed it.
